On the morning of February 8th, the launching ceremony for the first batch of materials for the "Green Pakistan Million-Acre Smart Farm Project" was grandly held at DAYU IRRIGATION Group's Tianjin Equipment Manufacturing Base.
Mr. Ghulam Qadir, Pakistani Commercial Counselor to China; the president of the Pakistani partner company; Wang Feng, member of the Party group and first-level inspector of the Tianjin Municipal Water Affairs Bureau; Su Qingyong, deputy director of the Water Resources Division; Cui Jing, senior vice president of DAYU IRRIGATION Group, president of Nongshui Group, and general manager of the International Business Department; Huang Weiwei, deputy general manager of the Equipment Development Group and general manager of the Manufacturing Business Department; Sha Mingming, deputy general manager of the Procurement Business Department of the Equipment Development Group; and Fu Shuai, deputy general manager of the International Business Department, attended the ceremony.
After the speeches by the guests, Cui Jing presented an authorization certificate to the Pakistani partner and signed a "Goods Handover Form" with them. Following the warm ribbon-cutting ceremony, Cui Jing announced the departure, and the vehicles, laden with friendship and wisdom, set off for Pakistan.
Pakistan is an important fulcrum country, an important connecting country, and an important demonstration country along the Belt and Road Initiative. On July 7, 2023, the Pakistani Prime Minister launched the LIMS (Land Information and Management System) initiative, aiming to promote the development of modern agriculture and improve agricultural productivity through the application of advanced technologies and modern irrigation systems to meet the food needs of Pakistan's growing population. The launch of the "Green Pakistan Million-Acre Smart Farm Project" is a response to and support for this initiative. This project, through the application of water-saving irrigation equipment and intelligent water-fertilizer integration technology, optimizes irrigation methods, improves the efficiency of agricultural irrigation water use, reduces water waste, and increases food production, which is of great significance to the development of modern agriculture in Pakistan.

It also marks the beginning of Tianjin's water-saving industry effectively expanding its influence to countries along the Belt and Road Initiative. As Tianjin's leading enterprise in agricultural water-saving, DAYU Group has provided Tianjin with full-range and full-industry chain services in modern agricultural water-saving for many years, making outstanding contributions to the development of Tianjin's water-saving industry.
