On May 15, DAYU IRRIGATION and the Almaty Oblast Government of Kazakhstan signed a memorandum of cooperation in Konayev City. Cui Jing, Senior Vice President of DAYU IRRIGATION Group and Chairman of Equipment Development Group, and Rustam Isatayev, Deputy Governor of Almaty Oblast, represented both sides at the signing ceremony. According to the agreement, Both sides will jointly build a modern agricultural demonstration base in the Shenggejinskiy Village area of Almaty Oblast, working together to help the local agricultural transformation and upgrading.
Cooperation Highlights
•Technology irrigates fertile land, cultivating talent empowers people's livelihood•
The project is initially planned to cover 1400 hectares of farmland, with pasture, wheat, and corn as the main crops. As a leading enterprise in China's agricultural water-saving field, DAYU IRRIGATION will rely on a complete set of core technologies such as intelligent drip irrigation, precision fertilization, and automated monitoring, to build a smart agricultural management system for the project. Through precise irrigation and scientific management, it is expected to increase the utilization rate of local water resources by more than 30%, simultaneously boosting both crop yield and quality.
Based on technological empowerment, DAYU IRRIGATION will invest in a special fund for local talent cultivation programs. Through vocational training, it will create more job opportunities for the local area, accelerate agricultural technology transfer, promote the localization of management experience, and contribute to the sustainable development of local agriculture.
Strategic Significance
•Deepening the "Belt and Road" Central Asia Layout•
This cooperation is an important practice of DAYU IRRIGATION's in-depth implementation of the "China-Kazakhstan Arid Area Efficient Water Use Laboratory" project signed by the heads of state of the two countries, and it is also a major breakthrough for DAYU IRRIGATION's "going global" strategy in the Central Asian market. After the project is implemented, it will build an innovative hub for agricultural technological cooperation along the "Belt and Road", providing a new sustainable development paradigm of "DAYU technology + Central Asian scenario" for countries along the route.
