On July 2, 2024, President Xi Jinping attended the 24th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and paid a state visit to Kazakhstan. During the meeting, the two heads of state jointly signed a Joint Statement of the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In addition, 31 important agreements were signed by the delegations of both sides, witnessed by the two heads of state. The 26th agreement is between the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University, China Agricultural University, and DAYU Irrigation Group Co., Ltd., regarding the establishment of a Kazakhstan-China International Laboratory for Efficient Water Use in Desert Regions.
China and Kazakhstan are good friends, good brothers, and good partners who are close neighbors and share weal and woe. President Xi Jinping personally designed and promoted the building of a China-Kazakhstan community with a shared future characterized by generations of friendship, high mutual trust, and shared weal and woe. 2024 is the year of DAYU Irrigation's full-scale overseas expansion. The company has established overseas companies in Central Asia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Among them, the Central Asia headquarters has conducted numerous visits and exchanges with the Kazakh government, universities, and investment institutions.
Recently, Cui Jing, Senior Vice President of DAYU Irrigation Group and President of Nongshui Group, led the Central Asia headquarters in visiting the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Water Resources of Kazakhstan, and the Kazakhstan Investment Group. They also held talks with Yerbol Taszhurekov, Vice Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Kazakhstan, and Bolat Kabykenuly, Vice Minister of Water Resources of Kazakhstan, etc. The Kazakh side gave high praise to DAYU Irrigation's practices in agricultural water conservancy in China.
