To comprehensively enhance the ability to prevent water and drought disasters, DAYU Huitu Technology has leveraged big data, artificial intelligence, and water resources professional model integration technology to vigorously develop the "Flood Situation Awareness System," using technological intelligence to build a solid flood control safety barrier and provide a "digital umbrella" for the land of Sanxiang.

The main goal of the Flood Situation Awareness System is to timely monitor, analyze, and predict the flood control situation in 14 cities and prefectures of Hunan Province, improving their emergency response and disaster resistance capabilities. Through the system's intelligent analysis and early warning functions, it can predict water level rises for the next 3 hours, issue early warnings in advance, intelligently push flood disaster risk information, and remind flood control duty personnel to take necessary measures promptly to ensure public safety and property protection.
Empowering Technology to Build a New Smart Flood Control System
The system deeply integrates multi-source heterogeneous data integration technology, real-time access to 14,000 hydrological monitoring stations across the province, 37,000 water conservancy video feeds, and meteorological data such as satellite cloud images, constructing an "air-ground-space integrated" monitoring network. The system completes a full flood situation scan every 5 minutes, using spatiotemporal correlation analysis algorithms to automatically identify abnormal data, reducing traditional manual analysis time from 2 hours to 5 minutes, achieving real-time monitoring capability with "ultra-short-term foresight."

Accurate Early Warning to Strengthen Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Lines
Addressing traditional flood control pain points such as "data lag, false alarms, and missed reports," the system innovatively developed dynamic early warning technology that can intelligently identify nine types of risk scenarios including river over-warning, reservoir overflow, and mountain flood warnings. For stations with hourly rainfall over 80mm, daily cumulative rainfall over 150mm, or river water levels exceeding warning/guarantee/historical levels, the system automatically triggers a red alert and precisely locates risk areas through the GIS platform. Combined with voice call functions, it can automatically or manually call flood control responsible persons at provincial, municipal, and county levels, securing golden response time for emergency dispatch.

The construction and use of the Flood Situation Awareness System has provided more scientific and reasonable flood control strategies for Hunan Province, offering strong information technology support for decision-makers, effectively improving the accuracy and timeliness of flood early warnings, reducing losses caused by flood disasters, comprehensively enhancing urban disaster prevention capabilities and emergency management levels in Hunan Province, and promoting the transformation of flood control work from "passive response" to "active prevention."
