The Ghana government delegation visited DAYU Group in China to jointly plan a new blueprint for China-Africa agricultural irrigation cooperation.
From September 5 to 6, a Ghanaian government delegation led by Hon. Mahama Ayariga, Majority Leader of the Parliament of the Republic of Ghana, made a special visit to DAYU IRRIGATION's headquarters in Tianjin and its R&D center in Beijing. The delegation conducted in-depth inspections and held practical discussions on key agricultural irrigation projects in Ghana. This high-level visit marks the entry of bilateral cooperation into a substantive implementation phase, with Chinese smart water conservancy solutions contributing to the modernization of African agriculture. DAYU IRRIGATION Chairman Wang Haoyu, Senior Vice President and Chairman of the Equipment Development Group Cui Jing, among others, warmly received the delegation and held working meetings with them.

During the inspection, the delegation visited DAYU IRRIGATION's intelligent manufacturing production base in Tianjin and the R&D center in Beijing, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the company's comprehensive strengths in efficient water-saving irrigation technology research and development, high-end equipment manufacturing, smart water conservancy solutions, and international project operations. The Ghanaian side highly praised DAYU IRRIGATION's advanced automation production level, strict quality control system, and continuous innovation capability. Particularly, upon learning about innovative technologies such as sonic rain enhancement suitable for arid regions, the delegation showed strong interest and engaged in in-depth exchanges on the technology's principles and application effects, recognizing its significant value in improving Ghana's agriculture, which heavily depends on rainfall.

Chairman Wang Haoyu systematically introduced DAYU IRRIGATION's development history, global business layout, and typical successful project cases implemented domestically and internationally, fully demonstrating the company's full-industry-chain service capabilities from project design, investment and financing, equipment manufacturing to construction management and intelligent operation and maintenance.

The talks focused on key issues such as technology localization adaptation, project implementation plans, local team collaboration, and long-term operation and maintenance mechanisms. Productive discussions were held on core concerns including water fee management, land rights coordination, business model sustainability, policy support, and financial backing. Chairman Wang Haoyu, drawing on DAYU IRRIGATION's domestic and international practical experience, proposed multiple feasible localized solutions and stated: "DAYU IRRIGATION looks forward to bringing advanced and applicable water conservancy technologies and mature project experience to Ghana, effectively helping to improve local agricultural production efficiency and ensure food and water resource security."

Ayariga spoke highly of DAYU IRRIGATION's technical expertise and sincere commitment to cooperation. He stated, "The professional capabilities and genuine collaborative spirit demonstrated by DAYU IRRIGATION have strengthened our confidence in driving the success of this project. This cooperation is a critical step in Ghana's strategy to achieve agricultural modernization and ensure national food security. Upon completion, the project will effectively transform the traditional agriculture's passive reliance on rainfall, providing solid support for increasing farmers' income and promoting sustainable agricultural development."
To further promote the implementation of cooperation, both parties agreed to jointly establish a special working group to detail responsibility divisions, establish an efficient communication mechanism, and ensure the subsequent work of the project proceeds efficiently and orderly. DAYU IRRIGATION Group will continue to uphold the corporate spirit of "governing water with the spirit of Dayu, and developing the cause of DAYU IRRIGATION," promoting the fruitful application of China's advanced water-saving irrigation technologies and management experience in Ghana, and contributing actively to deepening China-Africa agricultural cooperation and jointly promoting sustainable development.
