PVC Pipe Installation Methods
Sealing Rubber Ring Connection Installation Procedure
1.Clean the inner surface of the socket and the outer surface of the spigot.
2.Place the rubber ring in the socket groove with the correct orientation (larger end facing inward, smaller end facing outward).
3.Mark the insertion depth on the spigot end.
4.Align the spigot end with the bell end and insert the pipe until it reaches the marked line.
5.Use a feeler gauge to check the rubber ring around the circumference to ensure it is properly seated.
Adhesive Bonding Connection Installation Procedure
1.Cutting: Cut the pipe to the required size evenly and perpendicularly, then bevel the edges.
2.Cleaning: Clean the dust and grease from the spigot surface and the inner surface ofthe bell.
3.Applying: Apply the adhesive evenly and quickly to both the spigot surface and the inner surface of the bell.
4.Inserting: Align the center lines of the two pipes or the pipe and fitting, then quickly insert and rotate 1/4
turn to ensure the adhesive is evenly distributed between the spigot and bell.
5.Holding: Keep the pipe in place to allow the adhesive to set, maintaining pressure for at least one minute, and then wipe offany excess adhesive from the outside of the pipe.
6.Completion: After the connection, avoid applying load to the pipe within ten minutes.
