On September 25, 2024, Mr. Chatnaith Boualapha, Vice Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Laos, led a delegation to visit and investigate DAYU IRRIGATION Group's Beijing R&D Center, accompanied by Mr. Luo Xiangsheng, Deputy Director of the Lancang-Mekong Water Resources Cooperation Center of the Changjiang Water Resources Commission, and engineer Shi Xinyan. Mr. Wang Haoyu, Chairman of DAYU IRRIGATION Group, Ms. Cui Jing, Senior Vice President, and Mr. Tang Zongren, Vice President and Chief Engineer of DAYU Huitu Group, accompanied the visit.
The delegation visited the Beijing R&D Center and gained an in-depth understanding of DAYU IRRIGATION's achievements in technological research and development and technological innovation. Chairman Wang Haoyu extended a warm welcome to the delegation, introducing the development and transformation of DAYU IRRIGATION Group as a leading Chinese enterprise, its full industrial chain advantages, and its advanced mechanisms and systems. He also shared the current status and future development direction of DAYU IRRIGATION's international market.
At the symposium, Vice Minister Chatnaith highly praised DAYU IRRIGATION Group's products and solutions in agricultural water saving, digital twins, and wastewater treatment, and expressed a strong desire to cooperate with DAYU IRRIGATION Group. He emphasized that DAYU IRRIGATION's integrated full industrial chain service system is a valuable resource urgently needed by Laos, and he looks forward to introducing DAYU IRRIGATION Group's internationally advanced technologies in smart agriculture and water resource treatment to inject new vitality into the development of Laos' agricultural water conservancy. He expressed his hope to sign a memorandum of understanding with DAYU IRRIGATION to lay the foundation and framework for further cooperation between the two parties.
Chairman Wang Haoyu expressed his sincere gratitude for the delegation's visit and high praise for DAYU IRRIGATION Group, and further shared DAYU IRRIGATION's experience in technical solutions for flood control, water resource scheduling, farmland irrigation, and digital twins. He expressed his strong expectation for in-depth cooperation with Laos and hoped that with the support of Vice Minister Chatnaith, DAYU IRRIGATION's advanced technical solutions could be applied to Laos' farmland water conservancy construction as soon as possible, promoting the efficient use of water resources in Laos and helping Laos achieve its goals of agricultural modernization and sustainable development.
Also participating in the symposium were Mr. Jin Kang Manniyong, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Laos; Mr. Xiwanan Kong Maliwan, Deputy Secretary-General of the Mekong River Commission Secretariat; Mr. Feng Shawan Fengkang Deng, Secretary and Deputy Director to the Vice Minister; and Mr. Song Xi Shandala Sasane, Deputy Director. Mr. Fu Shuai, Deputy General Manager of DAYU IRRIGATION Group's International Business Department, and Mr. Liu Hongming, General Manager of the Southeast Asia Company, also accompanied the symposium.
